Enjoy our new range of beautiful herbal skin balms aimed at complementing your goal of achieving optimal health and skin care. These balms have been developed following over 25 years of herbal medicine and natural therapy alchemy in my dispensary. The ingredients have been chosen because I love quality extracts of the finest quality available to be applied topically. We have used local and organic products as our preference. The avocado oil comes from Maleny, high in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Here Bede Mackenzie takes pride in making oil from peeled fruit which gives the oil an extra richness. There is a beautiful healing quality for your skin when you apply Avo oil as it is rich in nutrients. The olive oil comes from Fat Hen Farm, a small family-run business producing oil of optimal favour and quality. Our organic beeswax comes from Olleys Farm in Queensland and we source our herbs from a selection of fine organic and wildgraft growers. We have extracted our herbs directly in each combination, using a trusted age-old herbal extraction method that allows the herbs to release their active qualities for the making of a beautifully soothing balm.

Arnica and comfrey in combination is my balm of choice for bruises, inflamed skin and injuries where the skin is not broken. I love this combination for fractures, post operative relief and also as an after sports rub. It's great on tired bodies and overworked joints and muscles. For me this is an awesome all-round first aid balm.

Chilli, hypericum and gotu kola is a warming and anti-inflammatory blend. Where you have sore or swollen joints, painful areas and for inflammation. This balm I also use to help increase circulation and as a delicious relaxant. Backs, knees, hips, shoulders, elbows, wrists, or anywhere you feel the need for pain or inflammation relief. Great as an after sports rub.

Peppermint with chamomile flowers is soothing and increases my circulation. It feels great on feet and smells delicious. We sometimes use it at home to; relieve headaches, aid digestion, as a chest rub in the winter and muscle relaxant for sore backs, necks and muscles. It is perfect before sleep and as a relaxing balm to put on every morning before walking and work.

Calendula, comfrey and chickweed is my traditional formula for all conditions where the skin is broken. This includes dermatitis, eczema, heat and nappy rashes, small wound healing and insect bite relief. I love the way the chickweed soothes itching while the calendula and comfrey are so calming to irritated and broken skin. A perfect first aid balm.

I love antimicrobial and soothing blends of paw paw, olive leaf and chinese wormwood. This is my favorite combination for skin infections, relief of insect bites, small wound healing or any spots on the skin that may need relief. Broken skin healing, unusual skin blotches and rashes and patches. Great for your first aid kit.

Wild yam as many will know is traditionally regarded as a natural hormonal cream. It is used by some of my clients to relieve bloating, PMT and menopausal symptoms and it is also good for digestive relief and to aid digestion. I have known it to help with skin conditions and as a general first aid balm.
