Herbal Skin Balms and Herbal Skin Oils have been developed by Dominique Finney, following over 25 years of herbal medicine alchemy. Dom has formulated what she considers to be beneficial balms that may help your skin feel refreshed, replenished and healthy. Dominique makes up her own combinations of herbs with essential oils that are formulated for skin health, hydration, smoothing and soothing and deliciousness. She is a naturopath and herbalist but also has a passion for skin care and beauty products that are traditional and unusual. Her aim is to have each formula unique, and for you the user, to feel and really enjoy them for enhanced skin health.
The balms are all made from local and organic products, whereby the herbs have been specially extracted, in beautiful local Queensland avocado and olive oils. The balms are so pure that you could actually eat them, containing only the extracted herbal oils, beeswax and selected essential oils in a herbalist synergy of deliciousness and tradition. The herbal skin oils are exactly the same product without the beeswax, they're simple herbal treats. The Herbal Skin Balm selection is available at your local health food shop or pharmacy, they sell for $24.95 each and Dominique is more than happy to discuss with you, your personal skin balm requirement.

Arnica and comfrey in combination, is my balm of choice to soothe the skin where the skin is not broken. I love this combination as a soothing agent for the skin on tired and overworked bodies. For me this is an awesome all-round skin soothing balm. Delicious with essential oil of lavender.

Chilli, hypericum and gotu kola have a warming effect when applied and help to sooth and relax the skin. This is a delicious skin relaxant and can be used after sports to warm, relax and refresh. Spicy aromas of black pepper and basil essential oils are divine in combination with these warming herbs.

Peppermint with chamomile flowers is soothing and cooling on the skin. It feels great on feet and smells awesome. It is perfect before sleep to refresh and relax the skin and to put on every morning before walking and work. The essential oil of peppermint added to the extracted oils can either feel really warm or really cool as it relieves tired skin.

Calendula, comfrey and chickweed is my traditional formula for softening and soothing unbroken skin. It can help to relieve and soften dry skin, and make it feel fresher and smoother. The soothing effects of this balm may help to sooth itching caused by dryness while also moistening the dry skin. The essential oil of mandarin really tops off this balm.

I love the soothing blends of paw paw, olive leaf and chinese wormwood. This is my favorite combination for soothing skin that has become dry and irritated by the elements. It helps to hydrate chapped skin and protect and relieve skin against abuse of the elements and can even be used to desensitize razor-burned skin. Essential oil of lemon myrtle makes this a delicious smelling balm and a great insect repellent, blended with herbs for extra relief.

Wild yam cream can help to promote elasticity and suppleness to women's skin. This is used specifically by women to revitalize the appearance of the skin and to make the skin look and feel younger. Rose essential oil is so delicious and soothingly cool.
